I must be the only one with this issue because I havent heard mention of it.
I cant get the width of the Folder pane (navigation pane) to stick. I can drag it to where I want but the next time that I open Explorer, its really narrow again. Its opening at about 158 pixels wide and I would like to make it something like 300-350 wide. Is there a reg key that is telling it what size to open to? Maybe I could force it to a new size with a new value or something.

It's funny, but every single time a new version of Windows or Internet Explorer is made they forget this each time. You can't get changes to folder views in Windows Explorer to stick and you can't get Internet Explorer to remain full desktop size.
I suspect that a lot of people are experiancing this but don't consider it a major issue to mention here with so much else that is really giving them big headaches. However, I agree that this is improtant and needs to be fixed.
I'd also like this fixed and you aren't alone! What a pain!

Try holding down the shift key while you close the window. It will be resized the next time you open it.
